Look for the tail end of breeding woodland birds, and the earliest fall migrants. Interesting species that have summered here in recent years include Pileated and Red-headed Woodpeckers, White-eyed Vireo, Hooded and Chestnut-sided Warblers, and Summer Tanager. Park at Bemis Woods North, easternmost part of parking area, just west of Wolf Rd.
