  • Park 566 North Beach/Rainbow Beach Dunes South Natural Area 7901 South Farragut Drive Chicago, IL, 60649 United States (map)

Dan does have one requirement for participants “Possess the desire--and the power--to blow off work at the start of the week to go birding.” The walk will promptly start 7 am and can take anywhere from 2-5 hours depending on what is being seen.

Time: 7:00AM – 9:30AM (anywhere from 2 hours to 5 hours, depending on the birds. Anyone joining is able to cut their walk short at any point in the walk by returning via the park's center road)
