Members Reception and Special Program

  • Alarmist Brewing 4055 West Peterson Avenue Chicago, IL, 60646 United States (map)

Featured Speaker: Peter Cahill: Birds, Community and Conservation in Rural Guatemala

We can vote together, drink together, eat together, and just have a great time together. If you’ve never come to one of these events, here is a message for you: we want you to come! These parties are just like our bird walks — new people are warmly welcomed! Good food, good drinks, good people.

All CAS Members present can vote for our new slate of board members: new members Alex Landberg and Lisette Zaid, and returning members Alan Anderson, Judy Cheske, and Jeff Sanders.

And say a warm thank you to retiring board members.

Then Peter Cahill will share some inspiring photos and stories about growing up doing bird conservation in Guatemalan cloud forest in a half-hour program.

Most of our board members will be on hand - we’d love to hear your thoughts.

You’ll see us to the right when you come in the door. Cash bar. We will provide light snacks. Alarmist Brewing has a great selection of drinks — including nonalcoholic — and a parking lot.

Not only is it a Chicago Audubon event, but it’s at Alarmist Brewing, of course you want to go!
